BALUCHISTAN WILDLIFE PROTECTION ACT, 1974 BALUCHISTAN WILDLIFE PROTECTION ACT, 1974 ACT XIX OF 1974 An Act to amend and consolidate the law relating to preservation, conservation and management of wildlife in Baluchistan [Gazette of Baluchistan, Extraordinary, 21st August 1974] No. Legis-X-(17)/74.----The Baluchistan Wildlife Protection Bill, 1974 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Baluchistan on 22nd July 1974 and assented to the Governor of Baluchistan, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. 17. Game Reserve.----The Government may declare any area to be a Game Reserve, where the following acts shall not be allowed:- (i) hunting, shooting any wild bird or animal specified in the First Schedule except under a special permit; (ii) clearing or breaking up any land for cultivation, mining or for any other purposes; (iii) introducing any domestic animal or allowing any domestic animal to stray; (iv) damaging or destroying any vegetation: Provided that the Government may for scientific purpose or for betterment of the Game Reserve or for the exploitation of forest produce or for any other purpose authorise the doing of any of the aforementioned prohibited acts: Provided further that alteration in boundaries may be allowed by the authorities competent to constitute the Game Sanctuary, National Park and Game Reserve.
