Amendment of Section 4 of Act II of 1989.---In the said Act, for section 4, the following shall be substituted;--- "(4) Terms of office of Chairman and Member. (1) The term of office of the Chairman or a Member of the Commission shall be five years: Provided that a Member, who immediately before , his appointment as Member was holding a post in the service of Pakistan may be transferred in public interest before the expiry of his term of office. (2) The Chairman or a member may-resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Governor."
