BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 An Ordinance to provide for the establishment of Juniper University [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 14th December, 1996] No. LEGIS.I‑108/LAW/96, dated 14‑12‑1996. The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 30th November, 1996, is hereby published for general information:‑‑--- Preamble.‑‑Whereas, it is expedient to establish Juniper University at Quetta in Balochistan; And whereas, it is in the interest of the Province in general and the betterment of public in particular to establish a centre of excellence in the fields of business, medical and technological sciences to provide strong managerial skills and expertise and for matters ancillary thereto in the above fields which is pre‑requisite for the economic growth and development of the Province and to provide quality education to talented students for the Province; And whereas, the Provincial Assembly is not in session and the Governor of Balochistan is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 128 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 the Governor of Balochistan is pleased to make and promulgate following Ordinance;
