BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 An Ordinance to provide for the establishment of Juniper University [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 14th December, 1996] No. LEGIS.I‑108/LAW/96, dated 14‑12‑1996. The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 30th November, 1996, is hereby published for general information:‑‑--- 2. Definitions.‑‑ In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject, or context:‑‑ (a) "Advisory Board" means the Advisory Board of the Junipur University; (b) "Board" means the Board of Governors of the Juniper University; (c) "Board of Trustees" means Board of Trustees; (d) "Chancellor" means the Chancellor of the Juniper University; (e) "Committee" means the Executive Committee of the Juniper University; (f) "Council" means the Governing Council of the University; (g) "Dean" means the academic head of the Faculty of the University; (h) "Director" means the Director of an Institute of the University; (i) "Patron" means the patron of the University; (j) "President" means the President of the Society; (k) "Pro‑Vice‑Chancellor" means the Pro‑Vice‑Chancellor of the University; (l) "Regulation" means the Regulations framed under this Ordinance; (m) "Rules" means the rules framed under this Ordinance; (n) "Society" means the Juniper Education Society formed under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (XXI of 1860); (o) "Teacher" means the Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers and Research Staff engaged by the University, or such other persons as may be recognized as teachers; (p) "Vice‑Chancellor" means the Vice‑Chancellor of the University; (q) "University" means the Junipur University;
