BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 An Ordinance to provide for the establishment of Juniper University [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 14th December, 1996] No. LEGIS.I‑108/LAW/96, dated 14‑12‑1996. The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 30th November, 1996, is hereby published for general information:‑‑--- 15. Board of Trustees.‑‑(1) The overall control of the University shall vest in the General Council of the Society which shall function as the Board of Trustees of the University. (2) Changes in the composition of the Board of Trustees shall be made on the recommendations of the General Council of the Society. (3) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions, the Board of Trustees shall have powers:‑‑ (a) to approve the creation of new components of the University as school, faculty or any other teaching or research unit; (b) to approve changes in the constitution of the Committee, Council or any other body of the University and nominate members on the Authorities of the University as prescribed under this Ordinance. (c) to perform all such other activities as may be required for furtherance of the objectives of the University; and (d) to delegate any of its powers to the Committee, the Council, or other appropriate levels of management, subject to such conditions as it may deem fit to impose. (4) The President and Secretary of the Society shall act as Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Trustees and shall perform such duties and such power as may be entrusted or delegated to him by Board of Trustees.
