BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 An Ordinance to provide for the establishment of Juniper University [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 14th December, 1996] No. LEGIS.I‑108/LAW/96, dated 14‑12‑1996. The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 30th November, 1996, is hereby published for general information:‑‑--- 18. Meetings of the Board of Governors.‑‑(1) The Board shall meet at least twice in a year on the dates to be fixed by the Chancellor: Provided that a special meeting may be called at any time by the Chancellor or on a request by not less that five members of the Board to consider any matter of urgent nature. (2) In the case of a special meeting not less than ten clear days notice shall be given to the members of the Board, and the agenda of the meeting shall be restricted to the matter for which the special meeting is called. (3) The quorum for a meeting of the Board shall be one half of its members, fraction being counted as one and out of which not less than six shall be the nominated members. (4) The decisions of the Board shall be expressed in terms of the views of the majority of the members present and voting and if the members equally divided, the Chairman of the Board shall have the power to exercise the casting vote.
