BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 BALOCHISTAN JUNIPER UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1996 An Ordinance to provide for the establishment of Juniper University [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 14th December, 1996] No. LEGIS.I‑108/LAW/96, dated 14‑12‑1996. The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 30th November, 1996, is hereby published for general information:‑‑--- 32. Rules.‑‑(1) Subject to the provisions of this Ordinance, rules may be made to regulate or prescribe all or any of the following matters, namely: (a) Terms and conditions of service of employees of the University, including scale of pay, constitution of pension, insurance, gratuity, provident fund, benevolent fund and other fringe benefits. (b) Terms and conditions of contractual appointments of teachers, researchers and officers. (c) Establishment of Faculties, Teaching Departments and other academic units and divisions. (d) Power and duties of officers and teachers. (e) Conditions under which the University may enter into arrangements with other public or private organizations for purpose of instruction research and ether scholarly research. (f) Conditions of appointment of Professor's Emeritus and award of honorary degree. (g) Efficiencies and discipline of employees of the University. (h} Acquisitions and administration of properties and investments of the University; and (i) All other matters which under this Ordinance required to be made or may be prescribed or regulated by rules. (2) The draft of the Rules shall be proposed by the Board for approval by the President. (3) The President shall, have the power to assent to the rules submitted to him for approval, or refer them back to the Board for reconsideration or to reject the same. (4) No Rule shall be valid until it has been approved by the President.
