BALOCHISTAN AGRICULTURE RESEARCH BOARD ORDINANCE, 1997 BALOCHISTAN AGRICULTURE RESEARCH BOARD ORDINANCE, 1997 An Ordinance to provide for constituting and organizing the Balochistan Agriculture Research Board [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 23rd February, 1997] No. LEGIS.I‑105/LAW/95, dated 8‑3‑1997.‑‑The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 29th January, 1997, is hereby published for general information:‑‑ 2. Definitions.‑‑In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions shall have the meanings hereby respectively assigned to them, that is to say‑‑ (a) "agriculture" means crops, livestock including fisheries, forestry, range management, soil science, socio‑economic institutional aspects connected therewith and such other activities and subjects as the Provincial Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, declare to be agriculture within the meaning of this clause; (b) "Board" means the Balochistan Agriculture Research Board established under section 3; (c) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Board; (d) "Government" means Government of Balochistan; (e) "Management Support Unit" means the Executive Committee of the Board; (f) "Prescribed" means the prescribed rules or regulations; (g) "Research establishment" includes Agricultural, Livestock, Forest and Fisheries experiment stations, field stations, institutes, centres, sub‑centres, laboratories and other units of the Board, howsoever, designated; (i) "regulations" means regulations made under this Ordinance
