BANK OF PUNJAB (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 1996 BANK OF PUNJAB (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 1996 An Ordinance further to amend the Bank of Punjab Act, 1989 [Gazette of Punjab, Extraordinary, 30th October, 1996] No.Legis‑3(XIII)/96, dated 30‑10‑1996.‑‑The following Ordinance promulgated by the Governor of the Punjab is hereby published for general information:‑‑ 2. Amendment of Section 4 of Act XIII of 1989.‑‑In the Bank of Punjab Act, 1989 (XII of 1989) in section 4, in subsection (1), for the words "five hundred million rupees divided into fifty million ordinary shares", the words "one thousand million rupees divided into one hundred million ordinary shares" Shall be substituted.
