ORDINANCE CXIV OF 1996 ORDINANCE CXIV OF 1996 ANTI‑NARCOTICS FORCE ORDINANCE, 1996 An Ordinance to provide for the constitution of Anti‑Narcotics Force [Gazette of Pakistan, Extraordinary, Part I, 12th December, 1996] No.F.2(1)/96‑Pub., dated 12‑12‑1996.‑‑The following Ordinance made by the President is hereby published for general information:‑‑ Whereas it is expedient to provide for the constitution of a Force for the purpose of inquiring into, and investigating offences relating to Narcotics and Narcotics Trafficking and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; And whereas, the National Assembly is not in session and the President is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:‑‑ SCHEDULE (Section 9) Authorities to Award Punishment ‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑‑------‑‑‑‑‑‑‑ S.No. Punishment Inspector Sub‑Insepctor/ HeadConstable Constable or or equivalent Asstt.
