THE AZAD JAMMU AND KASHMIR SHARIAT COURT ACT, 1993 THE AZAD JAMMU AND KASHMIR SHARIAT COURT ACT, 1993 (ACT IX OF 1993) [Dated March 16, 1993] AN ACT to provide for law relating to the constitution of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Shariat Court. WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for law relating to the constitution of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Shariat Court, in the manner hereinafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted as follows :‑ SCHEDULE Chief justice or Judge of Azad Jammu and Kasmir Shariat Court, under Section 3 of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Shariat Court Act, 1993. I____________ do solemnly swear that, as the Chief justice (or a judge) of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Shariat Court, I will discharge my duties, and perform my functions honestly to the best of my ability and faithfully in accordance with law. And that I will not allow my personal interest to influence my official conduct or my official decisions. T1us Act of the Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir received the assent of the President on March 13, 1993 and was published in Azad Jammu and Kashmir Gazette on March 16, 1993.
