XVIII OF 1879] [Dated October 29, 1879] AN ACT TO CONSOLIDATE AND AMEND THE LAW RELATING TO LEGAL PRACTITIONERS CHAPTER‑III OF PLEADERS AND MUKHTARS 11. Power to declare function of Mukhtars.‑-- Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Civil Procedure13 the High Court may, from time to time, make rules declaring what shall be deemed to be the functions, powers and duties of maukhtars practising in the subordinate Courts, and, in the case of a High Court not established by Royal Charter, in such Court.
