1THE AZAD KASHMIR LEGAL PRACTITIONERS ACT, 1948 1THE AZAD KASHMIR LEGAL PRACTITIONERS ACT, 1948. (The Legal Practitioners Act, 1879) 2[ACT NO. XVIII OF 1879] [Dated October 29, 1879] AN ACT TO CONSOLIDATE AND AMEND THE LAW RELATING TO LEGAL PRACTITIONERS CHAPTER‑IV OF REVENUE‑AGENTS 17 Power to make rules as to qualifications etc., of revenue‑agents.‑----- The Chief Controlling Revenue‑authority may, from time to time, make rules consistent with this Act as to the following matters (namely) :‑ (a) the qualifications, admission and certificates of proper persons to be revenue‑agents; (b) the fees to be paid for the examination and admission of such persons; (c) the suspension and dismissal of such revenue‑agents, and (d) declaring what shall be deemed to be their functions, powers and duties. All such rules shall be published in the 8[official Gazette], and shall thereupon have the force of law.
