1THE AZAD JAMMU AND KASHMIR 1THE AZAD JAMMU AND KASHMIR NOTARIES ACT, 1985 (ACT NO. XXVI OF 1985) [Dated November 27, 1985] AN ACT to provide for law relating to profession of Notaries in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for law relating to Profession of Notaries in Azad Jammu and Kashmir in the manner hereinafter appearing; it is hereby enacted as follows :‑ 17. Savings.‑-- Notwithstanding any judgement, decree or order of any court including High Court, every thing done, all actions taken, notifications issued, orders or appointments made, proceedings initiated, jurisdiction or powers exercised under the provisions of the Notaries Ordinance, 1980 (Ordinance XLIII of 1980) or its succeeding Ordinances issued from time to time shall be deemed to have been validly done, taken, issued, made, initiated or exercised under this Act. 1 This Act has been reported from the AJ&K Gazette Dated 27‑11‑1985, see issue 556 Vol. XXXI. 2.
