1THE AJ&K ADAPTATION OF LAWS ACT, 1988 1THE AJ&K ADAPTATION OF LAWS ACT, 1988 AN ACT to adapt and to enforce certain laws of Pakistan in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. WHEREAS it is necessary to adapt and to enforce certain laws of Pakistan in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It is hereby enacted as follows:‑ 5. Savings.--- All Government orders and notifications issued for the purpose of carrying out the settlement operation shall remain inforce till the completion of the operation in Districts under settlement and shall not be affected by the adaptation of West Pakistan Land Revenue Act, 1967.
