1THE AJ&K ADAPTATION OF LAWS ACT, 1988 1THE AJ&K ADAPTATION OF LAWS ACT, 1988 AN ACT to adapt and to enforce certain laws of Pakistan in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. WHEREAS it is necessary to adapt and to enforce certain laws of Pakistan in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It is hereby enacted as follows:‑ 6. Repeal.‑----- Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 (XVII of 1887) as adapted in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Government dues Recovery Act, 1963, (Act IV of 1963) Succession Certificate Act, 1977 (Bikrami) (XXXIX of 1977 and on Property Protection Act, 1977 (Bikrami) (XXXVI of 1977) are hereby repealed.
