Page 1 of this certificatemust he kept in the vehicle and should he produced on demand by theauthorized police officer or any officer of the Excise and Taxationdepartment not below the rank or a sub‑inspector on duty at any time. 4. This registration hook isnon‑transferable. It is to be surrendered on the sale of the vehiclewith the full particulars of the new owner. A new registration book has to heissued with each sale/transfer. 5. In case of loss of thiscertificate the owner of the vehicle shall chalk out an FIR with the policestation of the area concerned and get it published in the daily news paper.An application along with the copy of FIR. cutting of the news paper.Photocopy of the National Identity Card (NIC) of the owner and an affidavitshould be submitted to the concerned MRA within the 30 days of such loss.Owner of the vehicle shall be issued a duplicate copy of this certificatealter necessary verification of documents and depositing of prescribed fee inone of the designated branches of National (Bank of Pakistan (NBP). 6. In case the certificate isdamaged defaced or mutilated it shall within 30 days be surrendered to theconcerned MRA alone with an application together wish the prescribed fee forissuance of its duplicate. 7. Incorrect particularsrecorded fit the certificate shall immediately be notified to the concernedMotor Registering Authority (MRA) for rectification. ALTERATION/CONVERSION OF VEHICLE 8. Any alteration warrantingchange in the ?Description of Vehicle"recorded in this certificateshall he notified to the concerned MRA for necessary amendments in thecertificate of registration and associated office records. 9. In case of conversion ofvehicle from Commercial to Non‑commercial or nice versa. theregistration certificate and the number plates of the vehicle to be soconvened shall be surrendered to the concerned MRA who shall take appropriateaction under the provision, of the law. NUMBER PLATES 10. Loss or destruction of boththe number plates of the vehicle shall he notified to the police and thematter published in daily news paper. A copy, of police report and thecutting of the news paper together with an affidavit a copy of NIC of theowner and an application shall be produced before the concerned MRA liarissuance of new number plates on payment of cost prescribed. 11. In case of loss ordestruction of any of the two number plates the same shall be notified to thepolice and an application together with the copy of police report, anaffidavit and copy of NIC of the owner along with the remaining number plates(s) shall be produced before the concerned MRA for issuance of new numberplates on payment of cost prescribed. CHANCE OF ADDRESS 12. Any change in the addressof the owner/keeper shall have to be notified together with life certificateof registration and prescribed fee within 30 days of such change of addressto the concerned MRA i.e. the authority with which life vehicle is registeredor the authority in whose jurisdiction the new address falls for necessaryendorsement in the certificate of registration under intimation to theoriginal MRA who shall make necessary corrections in his record also. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP 13. In case of transfer ofownership of the motor vehicle the transferee shall within 30 days of suchtransfer shall produce the certificate of registration attested photo copy ofNIC of seller and purchaser both along with the prescribed fee to theconcerned MRA for the issuance of new certificate of registration. TRANSFER TO ANOTHER DISTRICT/PROVINCE 14. When a vehicle is removedto other District/Province the owner shall on the expiry of 12 months of theremoval of the vehicle surrender the certificate of registration numberplaces together with No Objection Certificate (NOC) of the original MRA.Attested photocopy of NIC of the owner along with the prescribed fee to thenew MRA who upon verification of documents from the concerned quarters shallissue new registration mark and number plates. 15. The number plates sosurrendered shall be destroyed by the MRA assigning new registration mark inits supervision under intimation to the original MRA. TAX 16. Motor vehicle tax shall bepayable on yearly/half‑yearly/quarterly basis in respect of all motorvehicles excluding Buses and Trucks in respect of which the same may bepayable on quarterly basis or in the manner as may be prescribed by thegovernment from time to time. 17. Motor vehicles taxes andother fees shall be payable in the designated branches of NBP or the MRAoffices or as may be notified by the government from time to time within theBalochistan province. 18. In case of vehicle fallingunder the category of ?exemption? the owner/keeper/agency shall have to seekrenewal of the certificate of registration before its expiry. NON‑USE 19. In case if vehicle isplaced off the road and the owner desires to avail the exemption from paymentof tax the owner shall within 15 days of commencement of non‑usedeposit the certificate of registration number plated and insurancecertificates etc. of the vehicle with the concerned MRA mentioning the placeof garage of such vehicle. CAUTION 20. It shall, he borne in mindthat the certificate of registration and number plates are the property ofgovernment and that their proper maintenance and custody shall be primaryduty of the owner / keeper of the vehicle. PERMENANT DESTRUCTION/SCRAP OF THE VEHICLE 21. It shall be incumbent uponthe owner/keeper of the vehicle to deposit the certificate of registration andthe number plates etc. with the concerned MRA before disposal or handing overthe vehicle to any agency/dealer in scrap and shall obtain necessarycertificate of clearance there from. Any future in this behalf shall renderthe owner/keeper liable to criminal proceedings as and when any misuse of thecertificate of registration or number plates is repotted or detected. This certificate is mot adocument of title. 2. This certificate should hekept carefully. 3. Page 1 of this certificatemust he kept in the vehicle and should he produced on demand by theauthorized police officer or any officer of the Excise and Taxationdepartment not below the rank or a sub‑inspector on duty at any time. 4. This registration hook isnon‑transferable. It is to be surrendered on the sale of the vehiclewith the full particulars of the new owner. A new registration book has to heissued with each sale/transfer. 5. In case of loss of thiscertificate the owner of the vehicle shall chalk out an FIR with the police stationof the area concerned and get it published in the daily news paper. Anapplication along with the copy of FIR. cutting of the news paper. Photocopyof the National Identity Card (NIC) of the owner and an affidavit should besubmitted to the concerned MRA within the 30 days of such loss. Owner of thevehicle shall be issued a duplicate copy of this certificate alter necessaryverification of documents and depositing of prescribed fee in one of thedesignated branches of National (Bank of Pakistan (NBP). 6. In case the certificate isdamaged defaced or mutilated it shall within 30 days be surrendered to theconcerned MRA alone with an application together wish the prescribed fee forissuance of its duplicate. 7. Incorrect particularsrecorded fit the certificate shall immediately be notified to the concernedMotor Registering Authority (MRA) for rectification. ALTERATION/CONVERSION OF VEHICLE 8. Any alteration warrantingchange in the ?Description of Vehicle"recorded in this certificateshall he notified to the concerned MRA for necessary amendments in thecertificate of registration and associated office records. 9. In case of conversion ofvehicle from Commercial to Non‑commercial or nice versa. theregistration certificate and the number plates of the vehicle to be soconvened shall be surrendered to the concerned MRA who shall take appropriateaction under the provision, of the law. NUMBER PLATES 10. Loss or destruction of boththe number plates of the vehicle shall he notified to the police and thematter published in daily news paper. A copy, of police report and thecutting of the news paper together with an affidavit a copy of NIC of theowner and an application shall be produced before the concerned MRA liarissuance of new number plates on payment of cost prescribed. 11. In case of loss ordestruction of any of the two number plates the same shall be notified to thepolice and an application together with the copy of police report, anaffidavit and copy of NIC of the owner along with the remaining number plates(s) shall be produced before the concerned MRA for issuance of new numberplates on payment of cost prescribed. CHANCE OF ADDRESS 12. Any change in the addressof the owner/keeper shall have to be notified together with life certificateof registration and prescribed fee within 30 days of such change of addressto the concerned MRA i.e. the authority with which life vehicle is registeredor the authority in whose jurisdiction the new address falls for necessaryendorsement in the certificate of registration under intimation to theoriginal MRA who shall make necessary corrections in his record also. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP 13. In case of transfer ofownership of the motor vehicle the transferee shall within 30 days of suchtransfer shall produce the certificate of registration attested photo copy ofNIC of seller and purchaser both along with the prescribed fee to theconcerned MRA for the issuance of new certificate of registration. TRANSFER TO ANOTHER DISTRICT/PROVINCE 14. When a vehicle is removedto other District/Province the owner shall on the expiry of 12 months of theremoval of the vehicle surrender the certificate of registration numberplaces together with No Objection Certificate (NOC) of the original MRA.Attested photocopy of NIC of the owner along with the prescribed fee to thenew MRA who upon verification of documents from the concerned quarters shallissue new registration mark and number plates. 15. The number plates sosurrendered shall be destroyed by the MRA assigning new registration mark inits supervision under intimation to the original MRA. TAX 16. Motor vehicle tax shall bepayable on yearly/half‑yearly/quarterly basis in respect of all motorvehicles excluding Buses and Trucks in respect of which the same may bepayable on quarterly basis or in the manner as may be prescribed by thegovernment from time to time. 17. Motor vehicles taxes andother fees shall be payable in the designated branches of NBP or the MRAoffices or as may be notified by the government from time to time within theBalochistan province. 18. In case of vehicle fallingunder the category of ?exemption? the owner/keeper/agency shall have to seekrenewal of the certificate of registration before its expiry. NON‑USE 19. In case if vehicle isplaced off the road and the owner desires to avail the exemption from paymentof tax the owner shall within 15 days of commencement of non‑usedeposit the certificate of registration number plated and insurancecertificates etc. of the vehicle with the concerned MRA mentioning the placeof garage of such vehicle. CAUTION 20. It shall, he borne in mindthat the certificate of registration and number plates are the property ofgovernment and that their proper maintenance and custody shall be primary dutyof the owner / keeper of the vehicle. PERMENANT DESTRUCTION/SCRAP OF THE VEHICLE 21. It shall be incumbent uponthe owner/keeper of the vehicle to deposit the certificate of registrationand the number plates etc. with the concerned MRA before disposal or handingover the vehicle to any agency/dealer in scrap and shall obtain necessarycertificate of clearance there from. Any future in this behalf shall renderthe owner/keeper liable to criminal proceedings as and when any misuse of thecertificate of registration or number plates is repotted or detected. PHYSICAL INSPECTION OF THE VEHICLE 22. The applicant shall producethe vehicle before the MRA regarding non‑commercial vehicles and forcommercial vehicles to the Motor Vehicle Examiner (MVE) in case ofregistration re‑registration issuance of duplicate copy of certificateof registration or number plates transfer of ownership or change of addressetc, along with other required documents.
