ACT IV OF 2004 ACT IV OF 2004 BALOCHISTAN PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISISON (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2004 An Act, further to amend the Balochistan Public Service Commission Act, 1989 [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 13th May, 2004] No. PAB/Legis: V(15)/2004, dated 13-5-2004.---The Balochistan Public Service Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2004 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 7th May, 2004 and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. It is hereby enacted as follows: 3. Amendment of Section 4 of Act II of 1989.---In the said Act, for section 4, the following shall be substituted: 4. Terms of office of Chairman and Member. (1) The term of office of the Chairman or a Member of the Commission shall be five years: Provided that a Member who immediately before his appointment as Member was, holding a post in the service of Pakistan may be transferred in public interest before the expiry of his term of office. (2) The Chairman or a Member may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Governor.
