ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1979 CHAPTER V‑ELECTION AND RELATED MATTERS 34. Remuneration.‑‑(1) A Chairman of a Union Council, District Council, a Town Committee, a Tehsil Council, a Municipal Committee or a Municipal Corporation shall be whole time functionary of the Local Council and may receive such remuneration as may be prescribed. (2) A Chairman of a Local Council mentioned in subsection (1) shall not engage himself in any trade, profession or calling. (3) A Local Council other than mentioned in subsection (1) may allow such honoraria and allowances to its Chairman as may be prescribed.
