ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1979 CHAPTER XV‑LOCAL TAXATION 142. Local Rates.‑All lands assessable to rent or land revenue shall be subject to the payment of a rate to be known as the local rate. The local rate in each District shall bear such proportion to the rent or land revenue in the District as the Government may, by notification, from time to time, fix and it shall be collected in the prescribed manner along with the rent or land revenue by the village officials responsible for its collection and the proceeds there6f shall be credited to the Local Fund of the District Council.
