ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1979 CHAPTER XV‑LOCAL TAXATION 148. Deduction of taxes from salaries.‑If a Local Council levies a tax on profession, trades or callings, it may require the employer of the persons liable to such tax to deduct the tax from the salary or wages payable to such person, and on such requisition the amount of the tax due shall be deducted from the salary or wages of the person concerned and credited to the Local Fund of the Local Council.
