ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1979 CHAPTER XIX‑ANIMAL TRESPASS 172. Possession and Feeding.‑(1) The Pound Keeper shall take charge of, feed and water the animals until they are disposed of as hereinafter provided. (2) A cultivator, tenant or occupier of any land or the vendor or mortgagee of any land or crop or produce or any part thereof, may seize or cause to be seized any animal trespassing on such land and doing damage thereto or any crop or produce thereon, to send them or cause them to be sent within twenty-four hours to a pound established under this Ordinance. (3) Persons incharge of Public roads, pleasure grounds, plantations, canals, drainage works, embankments and the like and the officers of police, may seize or cause to be seized any animals doing damage and shall send them or cause them to be sent, within twenty‑four hours of the seizure to the nearest cattle pound. (4) All Officers of the police shall when required, and in preventing resistance to such seizure and rescues from persons making such seizure.
