ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1979 CHAPTER XX‑ PANCHAYATS 176. Panchayats.‑(1) A Union Council or a Mohallah Committee shall act as Panchayat in the manner hereinafter provided. (2) The Chairman and one‑third of the remaining number of members shall form a quorum of the Panchayat, the fraction being counted as one.
