ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1979 CHAPTER XX‑ PANCHAYATS 186. Procedure.‑(I) A Panchayat or a Tehsil Council while hearing an appeal maintain a brief memorandum of proceedings of each case heard by it. (2) Sections 8 to I1 of the Oaths Act, 1873, shall be applicable to pro ceedings before a Panchayat. (3) All proceedings in a Panchayat or the appellate proceedings before a Tehsil Council shall be open to public and shall be undertaken after due publicity by the beat of drum or in any manner deemed sufficient by the Panchayat or the Tehsil Council, as the case may be.
