ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1979 CHAPTER XX‑ PANCHAYATS 190. Absence of Complainant.‑(1) If a complainant fails to appear on the date fixed for hearing or if in the opinion of the Panchayat the complainant is negligent in prosecuting the case, the Panchayat may dismiss the case. (2) Any person aggrieved by an order passed under subsection (1) may, within thirty days of the dismissal of the case, apply for its restoration and if the Panchayat is satisfied that there is good cause for the complainant's failure to appear or prosecute the case, the Panchayat may restore the proceedings. (3) The order of dismissal under subsection (I), unless set aside under subsection (2), shall amount to acquittal.
