ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 ORDINANCE IX OF 1979 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1979 CHAPTER XX‑ PANCHAYATS 199. Appeals.‑(1) A party may within thirty days of the announcement of the order or decree file an appeal in writing. (2) An appeal against the decision of the Panchayat of the Union Council shall lie to the Tehsil Council concerned and the quorum for the purpose of appeal shall be one‑third of the total number of members including the Chairman, provided that the members of Tehsil Council against the decision of whose Panchayat the appeal is preferred, shall not take part in the hearing of the appeal. (3) An appeal against the decision of the Panchayat of the Mohalla Committee shall lie to such authority and in such manner as the Government may specify or determine.
