BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER V‑ELECTION AND RELATED MATTERS 27. Bat against double membership.‑(I) No person shall at the same time be a member of more than one Local Council. (2) Nothing in subsection (I) shall prevent a person from being a candi date for two or more seats at the same time whether in the same Local Council or in different Councils, but if he is elected to more than one seat he shall, within a period of to (sixty) days after the declaration of the result for the last such seats, resign all but one of the seats and retain the seat of his choice and that until he has opted for one of such seats, he shall not take oath of office in any Local Council in term of section 26.
