BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER V‑ELECTION AND RELATED MATTERS 30. Resignation.‑2L(1) A Chairman or a member may resign his office by tendering resignation in writing to the Government through the Secretary, Local Government Department with a copy to the Local Council of which be is the Chairman or member. [Subs. by Ordinance I of 1982.] (2) The Administrative Department, on receipt .of the resignation will proceed under section 34; Provided that if the Chairman has incurred liability for removal, it shall, at that stage, reject the resignation and initiate action for removal.
