BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER VI‑EXECUTIVE POWERS AND CONDUCT OF BUSINESS 36. Disposal of business.‑(I) The business of a Local Council shall be disposed of as its meeting, or at the meetings of its sub‑committees or by its Chairman or servants or other functionaries in the prescribed manner. (2) A Local Council shall have the power to act notwithstanding any vacancy in its membership. (3) No proceedings shall be invalid by reason only that some person who was not entitled to do so sat and voted, or otherwise took part in the proceedings. (4) A Local Council may appoint sub‑committees consisting of such number of its member and other person, if any to perform such functions in such manner as may be prescribed.
