BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER VIII‑FUNCTIONS OF LOCAL COUNCILS 50.‑(1) A Local Council shall 'undertake the functions provided in this ordinance. (2) A Local Council may, subject to Chapter XI and to rules, regu lations, and through its bye‑laws and if the Government so directs shall, subject to allocation of funds undertake all or any of the functions enu merated in Fifth Schedule. (3) A Tehsil Council shall be responsible for Planning and Co‑ordi nation of interunion activities of the Union Councils in the Tehsil. (4) A Mohallah Committee and a Village Council shall perform such functions in such manners as may be prescribed.
