BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER X‑ENCROACHMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT POLLUTION 54. Environmental pollution.‑(1) A Local Council may prepare and implement schemes for the prevention of the pollution of air by the gases, dust or other substance exhausted or emitted by automobiles, engines, factories brick kilns, crushing machines for grain, stone, salt or other material and such other sources of air pollution as the bye‑laws may provide. (2) A Local Council may prepare and implement schemes for the preven tion of pollution of water or land from such sources and in such manner as the bye‑laws may provide.
