BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER XVI‑MARKET COMMITTEES 88. Constitution of Market Committees.‑(1) A Market Committee shall consist of the following members to be nominated in the prescribed manner :‑ (a) Five representatives from growers of the market area; (b) Two members of the Municipal Committee or one member of the Town Committee according 'at the Market Committee is situated within the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee or Town Committee; (c) Two representative of consumers of the Market Committee area ; (d) Three representatives of the commission agents/licences; (e) One representative of pedlare of the market areas; (f ) One representative of retailers of the market area; (g) One representative of Co‑operation Growers Association ; (h) One representative of the Agriculture Department posted into market area. (2) A Market Committee shall elect a Chairman by majority of votes. (3) The term of office of a Market Committee shall be one year from the date of its first meeting. (4) A member of the Market Committee may be removed in the prescribed manner; Provided that a member of a Local Council removed under section 29 shall also be deemed to have been removed from the Market Committee of which he is a member.
