BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER XVIII‑ DISPENSATION OF JUSTICE 119. Proceedings when the accused appears.‑(1) The Adalat shall, as far as possible, try a criminal case and pass orders on the day on which the accused appears and, if that is not possible, may, if he is not already on bail, require him to execute a bond with or without sureties to its satisfaction to appear before the Adalat on any subsequent day or days to which the trial may be adjourned. (2) The amount of such bond if forfeited shall be recoverable by the Adalat as if it were a fine imposed by it. (3) If the accused fails to execute bond under subsection (1) the Adalat shall inform any Magistrate in the District regarding such failure and also about the date fixed for the next bearing. The Magistrate when so informed shall proceed in the manner provided under subsections (2), (3) and (4) of section 117.
