BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER XVIII‑ DISPENSATION OF JUSTICE 128. Compensation.‑(I) The Adalat may order the whole or any part of the fine to be applied :‑ (a) in defraying expenses properly incurred by the complainant ; and (b) in compensation for any material damage or loss caused on account of the commission of offence. (2) If the Adalat considers that a case is false or frivolous or vexatious it may call upon the complainant to show cause why he should not pay compensation to the accused. The Adalat shall recall and consider any cause which the complainant may show and if it is satisfied that the case is false, frivolous or vexatious, may for reasons to be recorded, direct that the compensation not exceeding rupees two hundred be paid to the accused.
