BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 BALUCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE, 1980 CHAPTER XXIII‑BYE‑LAWS 166.‑(1) A Local Council or Market Committee may, and if required by Government shall make bye‑laws not inconsistent with this Ordinance and the rules framed thereunder to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing powers, such bye‑laws may provide for all or any of the matters specifically required to be provided by bye‑laws, enumerated in Sixth Schedule, under this Ordinance and the matter incidental, consequential and supplemental thereto. (3) The bye‑laws shall take effect subject to the approval of she Govern ment. (4) The Government may modify the bye‑laws or return the same to the Local Council or the Market Committee for being reframed. (5) The bye‑laws as approved by the Government shall be published in the official Gazette and shall take effect from such date as prescribed by the Government. (6) The Government may cancel the bye‑laws and thereupon the bye‑laws shall cease to have effect.
