ORDINANCE V OF 2000 BAHRIA UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 2000 ORDINANCE V OF 2000 An Ordinance to provide for the establishment of Bahria University at Islamabad [Gazette of Pakistan, Extraordinary, Part I, 7th February, 2000] F.Nor.2(1)/2000-Pub., dated 7-2-2000.--The following Ordinance made by the President is hereby published for general information: Whereas it is expedient to provide for the establishment of B'hria University at Islamabad and to provide for the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; And whereas the National Assembly and Senate stand suspended in pursuance of the Proclamation of Emergency of the fourteenth day of October, 1999, and the Provisional Constitution Order No. l as amended; And whereas the President is satisfied that circumstances exist which reader it necessary to take immediate action; Now, therefore, in pursuance of Proclamation of the fourteenth day of October, 1999, and Provisional Constitution Order No. l of 1999, as amended, as well as Order No.9 of 1999, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:--
