Power to appoint Inquiry Committee.--The competent authority may constitute one or more Inquiry Committees to scrutinize the conduct of a person in Government service or a person in corporation service who is alleged to have committed any of the acts or omissions specified in section 3, and record in finding thereon after. providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to such person, and make within thirty days recommendations as to punishment or other appropriate action: Provided that such opportunity of hearing shall not be given where the Committee is satisfied that in the interest of the security of Pakistan or part thereof, it is not expedient to give such opportunity.
