Facts constituting a cause of action had to be pleaded and where the plaint did not disclose the cause of action, it was not a plaint in the eye of the law
"Cause of action" was a bundle of facts which were alleged by the plaintiff to secure the relief sought by him
Prayer clause in the plaint was the substance of the plaint, and where no relief was claimed in the plaint, the plaint must be looked into as a whole in order to determine the relief that may be granted, if the same was decipherable from the reading of the plaint
Prayer clause cannot be read in isolation, but it would be read with the case set up by the plaint .
