Section 10(d) of National Accountability Ordinance, 1999, which expressly prohibited grant of remissions to an accused convicted under the said Ordinance, was declared ultra wires to the Constitution and struck down as void by a Full Bench of the High Court in the case of Saleem Raza v. The State PLD 2007 Karachi 139 which case was not assailed and attained finality
Remissions were available to those convicted under the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999
Appeal was dismissed accordingly.
