Scope
Provision of penalty for non-compliance contained in S. 159 made said section mandatory in nature and an extraordinary general meeting not convened in accordance with mandatory provisions of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 was a nullity in the eye of the law and any business transacted thereat was also illegal.
