Guddu Barage Scheme

Petitioner, being lease holder of land, after introduction of Guddu Barage Scheme applied for transfer of land in his possession as lease holder, but Authorities rejected claim of petitioner without dilating upon documents which were in favour of petitioner and were part of revenue record-High Court in exercise of constitutional jurisdiction, remanded case to decide afresh in accordance with law after notice to parties.

- - Sind Government Directive No.1401/74/2827/G-III dated 4th April, 1974-Directive of Government dated 4th April, 1974-Expressly a concession and at least enabling petitioners to move Provincial Government for regularisation -of their cancelled grants but does not confer a right to have such grants regularised-Petitioners in order to get their cancelled grants regularised, held, have to approach Provincial Government and make out a case for regularisation.
