Negligence is failure to take proper care and caution which any other reasonable and prudent person would take.
"Neglect" means "to omit to do or perform some work, act or duty, required in one's business or occupation or required as a legal obligation, such as that of making a payment".
Word "negligence"-Negligence ordinarily means want of reasonable care which an ordinary prudent man will. take or apply in a given set of circumstances-Negotiable Instruments Act (XXVI of 1881), 5.131.
