THE ARBITRATION (PROTOCOL AND CONVENTION) ACT, 1937 THE ARBITRATION (PROTOCOL AND CONVENTION) ACT, 1937. ACT No. VI of 1937 [4th March, 1937] An Act to make certain further provisions respecting the law of arbitration in Pakistan. 1. Short title extent and operation‑(1) This Act may be called the Arbitration (Protocol and Convention) Act, 1937. (2) It extends to the whole of Pakistan. (3) The provisions of this Act, except this section, shall have effect only from such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint in this behalf, and the Central Government may appoint different dates for the com ing into effect of different provisions of the Act.
