Tribunals

Tribunals created under their respective special laws possess limited jurisdiction and cannot be equated with the Courts of general jurisdiction.

Administrative or quasi-judicial Tribunals were not the judges of facts constituting the foundation of their jurisdiction.

Fact that no rules have been framed by the Government for regulating the procedure before the Tribunal which has already been established cannot make the operation of Act and functioning of Tribunal negatory, specially when the Tribunal established under the Act has been conferred exclusive jurisdiction to try a particular class of disputes under the Act.

Tribunals Tribunal of limited or special jurisdiction has the power to suo motu recall or review an order obtained from it by fraud.
