(On appeal from the order dated 29‑1‑1997 of the Punjab Service Tribunal, Lahore passed in Appeal No. 508 of 1997). ‑‑‑‑S. 9‑‑‑Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Art. 212(3)‑‑‑Posting of civil servant to junior post‑‑‑Only grievance of civil servant was that he, being Grade‑18 Officer, had been transferred and posted as Deputy Chief Officer of Municipal Corporation while Chief Officer of that Corporation was Grade‑17 Officer‑‑ Petitioner's grievance, if correct, would appear to be genuine‑‑‑Petitioner if so advised, should approach Secretary, Local Government who would attend to his said grievance and pass appropriate order warranted in facts and circumstances.

ZIA MAHMOOD MIRZA, J.
The only grievance agitated by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is a grade-18 officer but he has been transferred and posted as D.C.O., Zilla Council, Municipal Corporation, Faisalabad while the Chief Corporation Officer is an officer of grade-17. This grievance, if correct, appears to be genuine. Petitioner, if so advised, may approach the Secretary, Local Government and Rural Development Department who will attend to his aforementioned grievance and pass appropriate order warranted in the facts and circumstances.
2. With this observation, this petition is disposed of. A. A./L-1/S Order accordingly.
