Gratuity calculation rules for private sector employees

Under Standing Order 12, gratuity is calculated as: (Last drawn basic salary + cost of living allowances) x (number of completed years of service). Gratuity is paid if you have served more than 12 months. Contract employees are also eligible if they are categorized as permanent workers under labor court precedents.
