Appellant assailed an order passed by the Commissioner Insurance , which was fixed for hearing, however, neither any person appeared on behalf of the appellant nor any application for adjournment had been received
In view of the said circumstances, it appeared that the Appellant had no interest in pursuing the present appeal, therefore, the same was dismissed for non-appearance and non-prosecution
Appeal was dismissed accordingly.
Judgment & Decree
This order shall dispose of Appeal No. 100 of 2017 filed by the "Appellant" under section 33 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act, 1997 against the orders dated September 13, 2017 (the "Impugned Orders") passed by the Commissioner, Insurance (the "Respondent"). The instant appeal was fixed for hearing on March 06, 2024, however, neither any person appeared on behalf of the Appellant nor any application for adjournment has been received. 2. in view of the above circumstances, it appears that the Appellant has no interest in pursuing the titled Appeal, therefore, the instant Appeal is, hereby, dismissed for non-appearance and non-prosecution. MQ/14/SEC Appeal dismissed.
