Muhammad Zaman, Ahlmad of the Court of Session, Gujrat, and Mst. Tasneem Kausar, a British national, have sought bail in anticipation of arrest in a case registered under section 324/337-F(6)/34, P.P.C. with Police Station Civil Lines, Gujrat, on the 18th of July, 1992. The allegation against them was that they had made ineffective firing while their co-accused Saleem had injured the complainant by his solitary fire shot. During investigation, the Deputy Superintendent of Police found the petitioners innocent and also that they were not having arms at the relevant time. The offence under section 34, P.P.C. in the circumstances, has also been deleted. T-his being so, the interim bail of the petitioners, not allowed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Gujrat, is hereby confirmed on the bonds which they had initially furnished in the Court of Ch. Shabbir Hussain, Additional Sessions Judge, Gujrat. N.H.Q./M-787/L Bail granted.
