Bengal Tenancy Act (VIII of 1885), S. 26‑E‑Know ledge of the landlord through notice under section 26‑E or other wise‑Transfer binding on landlord. Non‑compliance with the provisions of section 26‑E would not by itself invalidate the sale in cases where the landlord had knowledge of the transfer.
