Appeal to the Appellate Bench of the Commission

Judgment & Decree
1. This order shall dispose of Appeal No. 17 of 2014 filed by Messrs KASB Securities Limited (the "Appellant") under section 33 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act, 1997 against the order dated March 31, 2014 (the "Impugned Order") passed by the Head of Department, MSRD (the "Respondent"). The instant appeal was previously fixed for hearing on 09/01/15, 19/02/15, and 12/07/18, and on all the said dates the hearing was adjourned on the request of the Appellant. The appeal was re-fixed for hearing on 20/07/23 however, once again, no person appeared on behalf of the Appellant. In view of the above circumstances, it appears that the Appellant has no interest in pursuing this Appeal, therefore, the instant Appeal is dismissed for non-appearance and non-prosecution. MQ/1/SEC Appeal dismissed.
